More than reading a fault code

A fault code is a starting point, not proof that a particular component needs replacing. Depending on your vehicle and symptoms, investigation may include a fault scan, relevant live data, filter-pressure information and checks for leaks or related emissions-system faults. We explain the findings and recommended next steps. Some faults require further testing; clearing a warning alone does not repair its cause.

Diagnosis, cleaning or additive service?

If the filter is restricted, our DPF cleaning service starts from £200, or £230 for commercial vehicles. Cleaning suitability depends on the filter condition and any underlying faults.

Follow your vehicle handbook and seek appropriate assistance if the vehicle is unsafe to drive. Do not attempt a forced regeneration or high-speed drive as a substitute for diagnosis.
