What is Eolys DPF additive?

Some diesel vehicles use a separate additive reservoir or pouch as part of their particulate-filter system. The correct product and maintenance procedure depend on the exact vehicle. Eolys is not AdBlue, and a general fuel-tank cleaner is not a substitute for maintaining the vehicle-specific additive system.

Do not choose a fluid solely by the vehicle badge or mix products without checking the specification. Refill intervals and warning messages vary; consult the vehicle maintenance information rather than rely on a universal mileage estimate.

Investigate the warning before refilling

A low level, a leak or another system fault can require different work. We discuss the warning and diagnostic findings before recommending a refill, pouch replacement or further investigation. Refilling alone will not repair a faulty pump, damaged wiring or a blocked filter.

Where applicable to the vehicle, the service includes the relevant diagnostic reset after the additive work. We explain any remaining faults and follow-up recommendations. A reset cannot guarantee that every emissions warning will disappear.
