Frequently Asked Questions

Do you come to me, or do I need to visit a workshop?

We come to you. All our services are fully mobile, whether you’re at home, work, or roadside. No need to travel — we bring the tools and diagnostics to your location.

How long does a DPF clean take?

Most DPF cleans take 1–1.5 hours, depending on how blocked the filter is and whether any faults need resetting afterwards.

Will a DPF clean fix my warning lights?

In most cases, yes. As long as the DPF is blocked due to soot build-up, the clean will restore flow and allow the regeneration process to work again. If sensors or injectors are faulty, we’ll diagnose that too.

What symptoms suggest I need a DPF clean?

Common signs include:

  • Loss of power
  • Increased fuel consumption
  • Engine warning lights
  • Limp mode
  • Fan running constantly
  • Frequent regens or failed regens

If you’re unsure, we can diagnose it before cleaning.

What vehicles do you work on?

We work on cars, vans, 4x4s and light commercial vehicles, including modern Euro 5 and Euro 6 diesel systems.

Do you offer diagnostics?

Yes — we use professional diagnostic equipment to read fault codes, test components, check live data and identify underlying problems before carrying out repairs or cleaning.

Which methods of payment do you accept?

We accept cash, card payments (All major debit & credit cards) and bank transfers for your convenience.

What is Eolys / PAT fluid and why does it need refilling?

Eolys/PAT fluid is used by certain diesel systems to help the DPF regenerate. It’s stored in a small tank and must be refilled when low. If not topped up, you may get DPF faults or be unable to regenerate.

What is included in the price? (AdBlue Diagnostic & Repair)

Included in the price is a comprehensive diagnosis of the AdBlue system, a OBD system scan to check for any faults with the vehicle, AdBlue injector pressure test & clean, NOx sensor test and AdBlue volume check. We also can provide AdBlue Fluid at £2/L (Order ahead)

How long does an Eolys refill take?

The refill and reset process normally takes 60–80 minutes depending on the vehicle.

What is the difference between carbon cleaning and DPF cleaning?

Carbon cleaning removes carbon build-up inside the engine, intake, EGR and combustion areas.

DPF cleaning specifically focuses on the Diesel Particulate Filter in the exhaust system.
Many customers do both to restore performance.

Can you fix AdBlue faults?

Yes — we diagnose and repair most AdBlue system issues, including:

  • Crystallised lines
  • Blocked injectors
  • Sensor faults
  • No-start countdown issues

We also reset the AdBlue system once repaired.

Do you provide invoices or proof of work?

Yes. Every job includes a digital or printed invoice, service notes and any diagnostic reports you need.

How do I book an appointment?

You can book directly through our online system, message us on live chat, or call us for urgent work. Weekend and evening slots are often available.

Can carbon cleaning or injector cleaning improve fuel economy?

Yes. Removing built-up deposits helps the engine breathe easier, improving response, restoring lost power and often reducing fuel consumption.

What should I do if my vehicle is in limp mode?

Don’t panic. We can diagnose the cause, clear faults where safe, and perform the required repair or cleaning on-site to get you back on the road quickly.
